November & December 2008
I have started making some larger and more adventurous work to compliment and extend my existing range. This will necessitate a new and larger kiln to fire it in. I just need to move house first...
In this brief period without a studio, I am exploring slab-building further and am making some exciting 'standing leaves'.

Demonstration
I was at Pakenham Water Mill with my wheel and a display of work for their Heritage day. The weather was as beautiful as it was last year and I met some more interesting and talented people; among them were Viv the baker from Viv's Patisserie and Steve the topiary artist.
Firings
Hot on the heals of the firing at potters camp, I fired my soda kiln in early september. The results were again good with some nice results. The highlights were the teapots, the coffee cups, a large jug and a vase I'd made as a commission. Pictures in the gallery.
August 2007
